"Regulators, mount up!"

Slow start but we made it to our first stop at a decent hour...before dark. Hot & humid here at Rock Creek State Park in Kellog, Iowa as we set up for our first night, of many, in the tents. Nice view from my front door as sunset approaches. Big storm came thru last night and blew the humidity out with lots of wind, rain, thunder & lightning. 

#OperationDinoDig :: The Reveal (after a week's worth of "clues" - June 29th

Clue #7...and the "reveal". 

I have been blessed with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to accompany a crew of paleontologists from the Cincinnati Museum Center on a trip to Montana to assist them in liberating a #Triceratops skull from it's current resting place, buried in the rock and dirt. The skull will be brought back to Cincinnati to be displayed in the museum. I can't tell you how excited I am at the opportunity to assist in this project. T minus 6 days to departure!!!

Dreaming of the open road...

Heading to Montana on Tuesday to dig a dinosaur out of the dirt. Sounds like another interesting adventure. Follow along as I journal my way thru this "trip of a lifetime".
